Testimonials
The professionalism shown by Steve & Amity at Waitara Angus is second to none. Fertility, frame & temperament shown through the Waitara bulls & their progeny is a credit to the stud. The results that we are achieving are exactly what we are looking for, here at Wowingragong.

We have purchased Waitara Angus bulls for use in our commercial Shorthorn herd and have found them to be both structurally sound and functional. We purchased from the paddock and put them straight to work over Shorthorn cross cows without any problems at all. We have found that for ease of calving and growth rates they have been outstanding performers in our operation. There is no need for us to look any further afield for Angus Bulls than Waitara.

Running cattle north of Brewarrina where feed and water require cattle to travel large klms a day requires bulls that are structurally very sound and not prone to breaking down as they grow older. This is a major consideration for us when purchasing bulls.
Secondly, conformation and temperament are most important, and are something that agents are commenting on when handling cattle. Lastly we need to be able to source bulls that have good performance figures.
All these attributes and more we have been able to obtain by purchasing bulls from Waitara Stud where nothing seems to be a problem.
P.S. Bulls that are guaranteed to CHASE any cow down!

We are very pleased with the calibre of Y23 purchased out of the paddock as a yearling in 2004, and feel his progeny will value add our business. Also we appreciate the interest shown by Stephen in our beef operation - I feel I can confidently ask him which bulls he feels will best suit us. The 2006 open day was a terrific display under trying drought conditions, it is great to see the females behind the herd. We wish Steve and Amity every success with their first auction.
